“We stayed on a groupon for 2 nights but were lucky to upgrade to the sea view turret room. What a fabulous view and definitely recommended if you get the chance. The room was clean, well appointed (even an iron and ironing board), warm and so relaxing just to watch the surfers on Fistral beach and the golfers, seagulls and rabbits on the local golf course. Made us sleepy just watching all the action especially with the sun streaming in for most of the day !

The hotel itself is equally close to the beach and the town centre so you can walk everywhere. That was a bonus in itself to leave the car alone. And there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within easy reach if you desired and lovely long walks all available from the doorstep.

The staff were so helpful, very friendly and willing to chat as were the locals.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the freshly cooked cornish breakfast; so much so that you didn’t need to have lunch.

Overall a very worthwhile, peaceful, enjoyable break and value for money. Highly recommended…”
