Cornwall is nearer than you might think and easy to get to.

  • You can now fly to Newquay from numerous airports in the UK including: London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester and Birmingham. From there it's just a short taxi ride to the Carnmarth Hotel and the start of a relaxing break.

Travelling by car to Cornwall is very easy with main routes into the county.

  • From north, west or east of London take M4 to Bristol, M5 to Exeter and A30/A392 to Newquay. Rac route planner

  • From South East of England take M3, A303 and M5 to Exeter and A30/A392 to Newquay. Rac route planner

  • From south coast of England take the A35 from Poole to Honiton and then A30 to Exeter and A30/A392 to Newquay. Rac route planner

  • From Midlands and northern Britain take M6 southbound to join M5 at Birmingham, continue south to Exeter and A30/A392 to Newquay. Rac route planner

  • Call the National Rail Enquiry Service for detailed train timetables. London is only 4 hours 15 minutes and direct services run from the Midlands and Scotland. Change at Par for local services to Newquay.
